LANTEX® GLASS TUBES

Epoxy

LTG476

A high quality epoxy glass tube which is suitable for use at 155°C/310°F (temperature class F).

The material exhibits high mechanical and electrical strength, low water absorption, high resistance to chemicals and high insulation resistance.

An excellent all-round performance.

Specifications – IEC/EN61212-3-1: EP GC 22. DIN7735: HGW 2375.4. NEMA equivalent: G-11.

LTG475

As above, but LTG475 utilizes a fine-weave glass cloth for improved machining capabilities.

Predominantly used for tubes with an ID of less than 10mm (0.394”).

LTG474

A high quality epoxy glass tube which is suitable for use at 130°C/265°F (temperature class B).

The material offers mechanical and electrical properties similar to those of LTG472, but with the addition of flame retardant properties.

Specifications – IEC/EN61212-3-1: EP GC 23. NEMA equivalent: FR-4.

LTG473

As above, but LTG473 utilizes a fine-weave glass cloth for improved machining capabilities.

Predominantly used for tubes with an ID of less than 10mm (0.394”).

LTG472

A general purpose, mechanical grade tube which is suitable for use at 130°C/265°F (temperature class B).

The material offers particularly good electrical and mechanical properties and high resistance to chemicals.

Specifications – IEC/EN61212-3-1: EP GC 21. DIN7735: HGW 2375. NEMA equivalent: G-10.

Silicone

LTG480

A high quality silicone glass tube which is suitable for use at 220°C/425°F (temperature class H).

The material exhibits excellent electrical properties, low water absorption, and low dielectric loss factors in both high temperature and high frequency applications.

Specifications – IEC/EN61212-3-1: SI GC 21. DIN7735: HGW 2575. NEMA equivalent: G-7.

LTG479

As above, but LTG479 utilizes a fine-weave glass cloth for improved machining capabilities.

Predominantly used for tubes with an ID of less than 10mm (0.394”).

LTG487

Similar to LTG480 material, but LTG487 possesses a high deformation temperature performance.

This material is widely used as nozzle insulators in wire welding guns where a shielding gas is used.

Melamine

LTG490

A high quality melamine glass tube which is suitable for use at 130°C/265°F (temperature class B).

The material offers high arc and track resistance and is widely used in applications which require consistent insulation from high electrical voltage.

Specifications – IEC/EN61212-3-1: MF GC 21. DIN7735: HGW 2275. NEMA equivalent: G-5.

LTG491

As above, but LTG491 utilizes a fine-weave glass cloth for improved machining capabilities.

Predominantly used for tubes with an ID of less than 20mm (0.788”).
